Official Rules and Regulations
1. OPERATOR
This competition is operated by Easyterms Ltd.
2. COMPETITION PERIOD
- Start Date: Week commencing January 7, 2026
- End Date: December 16, 2026
- Weekly Cutoff: Every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (midday) local time
- First Cutoff: January 14, 2026 at 12:00 PM
3. ELIGIBILITY
- Open to all adult Bahamian residents (18 years and older)
- Must be registered at www.easypayday.loans/treasure-hunt-registration
- Registration is FREE - you do not need to be a customer of Easyterms Ltd.
- NOT ELIGIBLE: Employees of Easyterms Ltd., their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household as employees
4. HOW THE TREASURE HUNT WORKS
Starting Prize
- The treasure hunt begins with a prize of $100 ("Treasure")
Weekly Prize Growth
- If no winner is found by the Wednesday midday cutoff, $100 will be added to the Treasure
- The Treasure continues to grow by $100 each week until someone wins
- When a winner is declared, the Treasure resets to $100 for the following week
Ultimate Grand Prize
- The final week (ending December 16, 2026) features a special prize of $5,000
- Only registered participants are eligible for this special prize
5. HOW TO PLAY
Step 1: Review the Weekly Clues
Each week, Easyterms Ltd. will publish:
- Proof of Location: Photographic requirements to prove you have found the correct location (example: A conch shell)
- 3 Clues: These clues will help you identify three specific words
Step 2: Solve the What3words Address
The three words from the clues, when arranged in the correct order, form a what3words address that pinpoints the exact treasure location.
What is what3words? what3words is a geocoding system that has divided the world into 3m x 3m squares, each identified by a unique combination of three words (e.g., ///table.chair.lamp).
How to Use www.what3words.com:
- Visit www.what3words.com or download the free what3words app
- Enter the three words in the correct order in the search bar, separated by periods (e.g., word1.word2.word3)
- The map will show you the exact 3m x 3m location
- Use the map and navigation features to find your way to the location
Step 3: Visit the Location
- The location will always be land-based within The Bahamas
- Navigate to the exact what3words location shown on the map
Step 4: Submit Your Entry
To claim the Treasure, you must:
- Take a selfie with both you and the proof of location in the shot
- Post the photograph on your Facebook page and tag @easy payday
- Include the hashtag #easypayday in your post
- Submit before the Wednesday 12:00 PM cutoff time
6. WINNING
How Winners Are Determined
- The first registered participant to correctly post a qualifying photograph on Facebook with #easypayday and tag @easy payday wins the Treasure for that week
- The photograph must clearly show both the entrant and the proof of location
- The timestamp on the Facebook post will determine the order of entries
- Entries must be submitted before the Wednesday midday cutoff
Winner Verification
Easyterms Ltd. reserves the right to verify:
- That the winner is properly registered
- That the photograph was taken at the correct location
- That the entry meets all requirements outlined in these rules
7. IMPORTANT TERMS
Proof of Location Requirements
Your photograph must clearly show the visual proof of location published with that week's clues. Photographs that do not include recognizable proof of location may be disqualified.
One Entry Per Person Per Week
Each registered participant may submit one entry per week.
Privacy and Social Media
By posting your entry on Facebook with #easypayday, you acknowledge that your post will be publicly visible and may be shared by Easyterms Ltd. for promotional purposes.
Decision Final
All decisions made by Easyterms Ltd. regarding winner selection, rule interpretation, and eligibility are final and binding.
8. PRIZE PAYMENT
- Weekly winners will be notified via their registered contact information
- Prize payment arrangements will be communicated to verified winners
- The special $5,000 prize (December 16, 2026) will be paid only to a registered participant
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Easyterms Ltd. reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition if circumstances require
- Easyterms Ltd. is not responsible for technical difficulties, including issues with Facebook, what3words, or internet connectivity
- Participants agree to abide by all rules and the decisions of Easyterms Ltd.
- By entering, participants consent to the use of their name and photograph for promotional purposes
